Worlds
Every world with its size and seed: upload, download, reset, extra worlds, the main world, borders and pre-generation.
Worlds lists every world (main world, nether, end and extra worlds) with size, seed and when it was last played. A snapshot is taken before any reset, upload or delete, so you can always go back.
Upload a world
- Zip the world folder. The files (
level.datand the rest) can be at the top of the zip or in one folder. - Press Upload a world, choose the zip and name the world.
- If a world with that name exists, tick Replace it to replace it.
If the server is running, it stops for the import and starts again after. The upload is refused,
with a reason, if it is bigger than your free disk space, unpacks to far more than its size, holds
paths outside the world or links, or has a password. A name used by a folder that is not a world,
such as plugins, is refused.
Download a world
Download next to a world gives a zip, any time, on any plan. The link works for an hour.
Reset or regenerate
Reset or regenerate makes the world again from a seed. Leave the seed empty for a random one. Type the world's name to confirm. Everything built in it goes.
- Resetting the main world also resets its nether and end.
- Stop the server first. A reset never runs while players are on.
Extra worlds
Create world adds an extra world, for example a creative world players reach with a portal plugin. Pick the type (Overworld, Nether, End), the terrain (Normal, Flat, Empty, Amplified, Large biomes) and, if you like, a seed.
- Make this the main world sets where players spawn. It applies after a restart.
- Delete removes an extra world. The main world, nether and end can only be reset.
World border
World border sets the width in blocks, or removes it. Free servers have none by default; the 5 GB disk is the only limit.
Pre-generating
Paid plans can build the land around spawn ahead of time, so exploring does not lag. Pick how far and press Start pre-generating. On free servers the world generates as players explore.
Datapacks
Datapacks are on the Plugins page, per world.
Your AI can reset a world if you allow it. It starts on Ask.
