Bedrock crossplay
Let players on Minecraft Bedrock Edition join your Java server, with one switch.
Crossplay lets Bedrock Edition players (phones, tablets, consoles, Windows) join your Java server. It costs nothing, uses none of your server's memory, and needs nothing installed.
Turn it on
- Open Settings and switch on Let Bedrock players join.
- Tell Bedrock players to add our hub,
play.quarrymc.net, port 19132. - They pick your server from the hub's server list.
Your server has no Bedrock address of its own. Every server shares the hub's Bedrock port. Switch it off the same way; Java players are not affected.
What to expect
- Bedrock names start with a dot, for example
.Steve. Use that in whitelists and permissions. - Some plugins that use Java-only features behave differently for Bedrock players.
- Bedrock players see chest menus.
- If they pick a server without crossplay, they read "yourserver doesn't let Bedrock players join" and stay in the hub. The hub list can show them only the servers they can join.
- Supported Bedrock versions follow the current release of Geyser, the translator we run.
- Some consoles cannot type a server address, and we have no steps for those yet.
