The help bot

The help bot is on our website and docs. It answers from these docs and helps with lag, crashes, plugins and players who cannot join. It is an AI, so check the docs page it links when it matters.

What it does

• Answers from the docs, for anyone. Answers link to their page.
• Checks your server when you are signed in. Name the server, for example "why is mossgrove lagging?". It reads status, recent logs and crash reports, and suggests a fix.
• Links plugins on Modrinth or Hangar, and no other site.

What it never does

• Change your server. It tells you the steps, or your own AI can do it under your settings.
• See servers that are not yours, or more than your role allows.
• Read chat. Chat, private messages and player commands are removed from logs first.

It treats text in logs as information and never follows requests in it.

Your chats

• Signed in: chats are saved. Open Saved chats to read, delete or clear them. They are in your data export and deleted with your account. Manage them in Account, Help bot memory.
• Not signed in: nothing is saved.
• Chats unused for a year are deleted. We keep your newest 100 chats.

Your question and the matching docs are sent to an AI model through our AI provider. Do not share passwords or other secrets with the help bot.

Limits

These may change. There is also a short limit per minute. The bot says when you can ask again. When the AI is paused, it lists the closest docs pages instead.
