Linking your Minecraft account with /claim
Prove which Minecraft account is yours with a short code, so you are made operator on your server.
Linking tells us which Minecraft player is you. It uses a short code; you never sign in to Microsoft with us.
Link it
- In the panel, open Account and, under Minecraft account, press Get a link code.
- Join our hub (
play.quarrymc.net) or your own server. - Type the command shown,
/claimand your code, in chat. - Back in Account, check the player name and press Yes, link it. If it was not you, press Not me.
The code works for 10 minutes. A new code switches the old one off. Never share or stream it:
whoever types it first can ask to link, which is why you confirm. After five wrong codes in 10
minutes, /claim stops for that player for 10 minutes.
A Minecraft account links to one Quarry Hosting account. Unlink in Account removes it. Linking needs Java Edition; Bedrock players can play but not link.
If your server has its own /claim (for example a land claim plugin), it keeps working. We only take
/claim followed by one of our codes. In the hub, /claim is always ours.
What linking gives you
- Operator on your servers, for the owner, co-owners and admins.
- The in-game owner menu, to restart the server, see who is on and change a few settings.
- Daily credits: your play streak counts only once you are linked. See Credits and plans.
We keep your Minecraft name and its ID, nothing else.
